University of Camerino (UNICAM) is a ‘city campus university’ chartered in 1336, with about 600 staff, about 8,000 undergraduate students, and 180 PhD candidates, of which about 40% are international students. UNICAM has 5 Schools which conduct research and training activities in specific scientific fields: Architecture and Design; Science and Technology; Biosciences & Veterinary; Law; Pharmacy. Each School manages its activities in an international integrated cultural oriented environment. Bottega del Terzo Settore (BTS) is a leading social innovation hub in center Italy, a physical and virtual place to support third sectors actors in the whole Marche Region. Founded in 2008 by scientists and educators, SciCo connects society with science through dynamic festivals, workshops, digital platforms, and international collaborations. Having reached over 400,000 people across Greece and beyond, the organization empowers citizens, students, and teachers with scientific knowledge, promotes STEM education, strengthens the role of researchers in society, and inspires responsible action toward environmental sustainability and the challenges of the future.  

“Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu (ULBS) is a public university in Romania with a focus on research excellence and internationalization. Its community engages in activities designed to improve curricula and introduce new topics. This is emphasised by the establishing of the first Design Thinking School in a university in Romania in 2020 (ULBS D-School) and a strong Teacher Training Department (DPPD). The university programmes foster research, learning and competence development to students from Romania and different countries.

Asociaţia Consilierilor şi Consultanţilor Educaţionali is a dynamic educational organization dedicated to empowering learners, educators, and institutions through innovation, guidance, and lifelong learning. Working across formal, non-formal, and informal education, it designs impactful projects, training programs, counseling services, and international mobility initiatives for students, teachers, parents, youth workers, and education leaders. From educational research and resource development to seminars, camps, and psychological support services, the association fosters personal growth, professional excellence, and inclusive education for communities of all ages. 

The University of Valladolid (UVa) is one of Spain’s leading public universities, with nearly 24,000 students and more than 2,600 academic staff across four campuses. The university combines a strong tradition in teaching and research with an active commitment to internationalisation, participating in numerous European research, education and innovation initiatives.

UVa manages around 180 research projects annually and has extensive experience in European cooperation programmes, including Erasmus+ and other international partnerships. Sustainability is a strategic priority for the university, reflected in initiatives such as the LUCIA Building, an internationally recognised example of energy-efficient and sustainable campus infrastructure.

Through the Spanish Observatory of Validation of Professional Competences (OBSERVAL - https://observal.es) and the Research Group on Qualifications, Employability and Social Entrepreneurship (Q-ESE), UVa has developed significant expertise in lifelong learning, validation of non-formal and informal learning, employability, career guidance, competence-based education, and the design and recognition of micro-credentials. These activities support the development of innovative approaches to skills recognition, inclusion, and lifelong learning pathways, contributing directly to the objectives of European education and employment policies.

Within the project, UVa contributes its expertise in competence frameworks, validation methodologies, quality assurance, micro-credential design, and the recognition of learning outcomes acquired through formal, non-formal and informal learning contexts.

The Youth Council of Castile and León is the main representative body for young people and youth organizations in the region, bringing together 49 organisations and acting as a bridge between youth and public institutions. The Council promotes active citizenship, democratic participation, and youth involvement in cultural, social and political life. In a vast and mainly rural region, it also works to reduce territorial inequalities in youth participation, fostering inclusion and creating opportunities for young people to contribute to their communities through collaboration, civic innovation and European cooperation.
